- 12 Shelter Homes for protection of sex crime victims presently managed by Nirbhaya Cell of Social Justice Department.
- 21 One Stop Crisis Cells functional in Government Hospitals of all 14 districts of the State – catering mainly to Gender based violence victims, only about 2% sex crime victims.
- Nirbhaya Enterprises/ After Care Home is being set up at Edakkattuvayal in Ernakulam with the help of Local and District Panchayat and with the participation of Business houses and NGOs for rehabilitation and reintegration of sex abuse victims to mainstream society.
- A comprehensive integrated multi –sectoral prevention campaign against gender violence is being planned which will target all the sections of the society
- Immediate Compensation Relief Fund is being set up to provide immediate economic assistance to victims of sex abuse and gender based violence.
