Widows, Divorced, Deserted and Destitute Women above 18 yrs who have nobody to look after are admitted in mahila mandiram. Those women approaching the institution with their children are also allowed to stay till their child attains 6 yrs. Subsequently, these children will be accommodated in other welfare institutions and are provided with education and other facilities. Women will also be admitted on the direction of the district probation officers, police officials, court etc.
