PMMVY, a maternity benefit programme is being run by the department since 01/01/2017.  The scheme is implemented in Kerala using the platform of Anganawadi Services of Umbrella ICDS. The scheme is implemented through a centrally deployed MIS with the aim of compensating partial wage loss, improve health seeking behaviour, improve nutritional status and to promote exclusive breast feeding.

Women

 

Eligibility

All pregnant women and lactating mothers for their first pregnancy, excluding those who are in regular employment with the central government, state government or PSUs or those who are in receipt of similar benefits under any law for the time being in force.

1st instalment

  • Form 1A
  • Copy of MCP card or any document from health facility
  • Aadhar card  copy of beneficiary and her husband
  •  Adhar seeded single account bank passbook copy of beneficiary
  • 2nd Instalment
  • Form 1 B
  • Copy of MCP card or any document from health facility showing ANC date

3rd instalment

  • Form 1C
  • Copy of child birth registration certificate

Early registration of pregnancy in Anganawadi Centre or Health facility (Within 150 days of LMP)

Completion of six months of pregnancy and at least one antenatal check up within 180 days of pregnancy

Registration of child birth

Completion of first cycle of immunization schedule (BCG, OPV, DPT & Hep B)

Services Delivery

Duly filled application forms will be collected in AWCs, after verification the same will be entered in the software -  PMMVY- CAS. If the beneficiaries satisfy all the criteria mentioned an amount of ₹ 5000/- will transferred directly into the beneficiary’s aadhaar seeded bank account in three instalments.
